Olivier derby shoes are great for adding a touch of refinement to your casual wardrobe. Constructed using a flexible and lightweight welt, this pair is made from smooth grained calf and fitted with comfortable natural crepe soles to support your feet throughout the day. Inspired by a Belgian loafer but with the added laces, Olivier derby shoes are perfect for the classic man, but at the same time with a new shape.

Care instructions

This type of leather is not water-resistant, is prone to stain & water damage, and risks the possibility of discoloration. When exposed to rain, dry with a cloth as soon as possible. If severely soaked, put newsprint paper into the shoes to absorb water and prevent it from warping. Store in a cool dry place. High-temperature drying methods (i.e., a hair dryer) should never be used, which may cause the leather to harden, crack, or warp. Light stains can be cleaned with a dry cloth. We recommend you to use a cream.

PROPERTIES

Grained calf leather is valued for its textured surface, natural resistance to scratches, and soft, malleable structure.
Its visible grain gives each pair a unique character, while remaining supple and adaptable to the shape of the shoe. It is both durable and refined, ideal for everyday elegance.

CARE

Though more resistant to daily wear than smooth leather, grained calf is not water-repellent and can be sensitive to moisture and staining.
In case of rain exposure, gently pat dry with a soft cloth. If the leather becomes soaked, fill the shoes with paper (avoid printed newsprint) to absorb excess moisture and maintain shape. Let them dry naturally, away from direct heat or sunlight. Do not use artificial heat sources such as hair dryers, which can cause the leather to harden or crack.

To maintain the leather’s suppleness and finish, use a neutral or color-matching cream polish. Apply with a soft cloth, allow to absorb, then buff gently.

We recommend using cedar shoe trees between wears to help maintain the shape and absorb residual humidity.
Store your shoes in their dust bags, in a dry, well-ventilated space.

Crafted from supple, shining leather that molds to the foot, and brought to life by skilled artisans in Portugal, the Olivier is designed to make a statement while maintaining remarkable comfort. The laces allow for a slight slip-on effect, giving the shoe versatility while keeping its refined silhouette.
