The white loafer, a colorway that exudes confidence and romanticizes the essence of a European summer, is a versatile and stylish addition to any wardrobe. One of my favorite ways to pair and style these loafers is with an all-white ensemble, preferably a linen suit and complimented with your favorite sunglasses. You can also wear these loafers with white trousers, earth-tone colorways, or a pair of relaxed chino trousers accompanied by a nice knitted polo. For a more casual yet refined look, a perforated tank top paired with a suede, silk or linen bomber jacket will also do wonders with this pair. PROPERTIES
Grained calf leather is valued for its textured surface, natural resistance to scratches, and soft, malleable structure.
Its visible grain gives each pair a unique character, while remaining supple and adaptable to the shape of the shoe. It is both durable and refined, ideal for everyday elegance.
CARE
Though more resistant to daily wear than smooth leather, grained calf is not water-repellent and can be sensitive to moisture and staining.
In case of rain exposure, gently pat dry with a soft cloth. If the leather becomes soaked, fill the shoes with paper (avoid printed newsprint) to absorb excess moisture and maintain shape. Let them dry naturally, away from direct heat or sunlight. Do not use artificial heat sources such as hair dryers, which can cause the leather to harden or crack.
To maintain the leather’s suppleness and finish, use a neutral or color-matching cream polish. Apply with a soft cloth, allow to absorb, then buff gently.
We recommend using cedar shoe trees between wears to help maintain the shape and absorb residual humidity.
Store your shoes in their dust bags, in a dry, well-ventilated space.
