Description
ALEXIS SHEARLING's loafers are as comfortable as a pair of slippers, but look refined enough to wear for almost any occasion. They've been crafted in Portugal from soft suede and have smooth leather trims and lining. These comfortable sheepskin moccasins are hand-sewn with durable topstitching and lined with the world's best sheepskin fleece. The black shearling is extremely soft. Details include a leather insole and a durable black crepe sole for outdoor travel.

PROPERTIES
Suede has a soft velvet-like feel. Although difficult to maintain, it still remains a popular use choice. Compared with other leathers, suede is prone to discoloration under abrasion. It is especially prone to staining and warping when exposed to water and care must be taken to prevent clothes from being color-stained by colors running from suede.
CARE
Suede stains easily and it is susceptible to absorb moisture and form mildew. It must be carefully maintained and used. Brush the surface with a suede brush to remove dust particles. For oil-based or dirt stains, add a small amount of leather protection cream to a cloth and then wipe (Do not apply the protection cream directly to the leather) Repeat and wipe again. Some leathers may discolor, so we suggest to test wipe (with cotton swabs) on less visible areas (such as the inside or corners) before wiping. When caring for your leather, it is essential to use a specialized leather protection cream. Minor scuffs and scratches on the surface of fine leather are unavoidable with use. Use a clean hand to rub the scratches lightly. The heat and natural oil from your hands will cause the marks to slightly disappear.
