CARE Calf leather
PROPERTIES
Calf leather is known for its fine grain, supple feel, and refined appearance. It offers an ideal balance of softness, strength, and flexibility. Polished calf adds a subtle shine that enhances its natural elegance while maintaining durability. Over time, it develops a unique patina, a testament to how it's worn and cared for.
CARE
After each wear, gently wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and light marks.
For light scuffs, rub gently with clean, dry hands, the warmth and natural oils of the skin can help reduce surface marks.
To nourish and protect the leather, apply a neutral or matching color cream polish using a soft cloth. Let it absorb, then buff lightly with a clean brush or cloth to restore the shine. Avoid liquid polishes or waxes, which may clog the pores of the leather.
For long-term care, use cedar shoe trees between wears to help absorb moisture and preserve the original shape of the shoe.
Before storing, lightly spray with a water-repellent leather protector and place in the dust bag, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
Repeat these care steps regularly to maintain the leather’s natural beauty and softness.
