MACKINSTOSH X JACQUES SOLOVIERE PARIS COLLAB

At the beginning of 2020, Mackintosh joins forces with Jacques Solovière Paris to create its signature silhouette. When the Mackintosh team discovered the poetic world of Jacques Solovière Paris shoes in Tokyo, the idea of bringing the two brands with a common philosophy together became obvious. Indeed Jacques Soloviere Paris and Mackintosh share an idea of style, around values such as timelessness, elegance, and unisex design. Accuracy of cut and quality of materials constitute their respective DNA. These are the brand's iconic models, called "one eyelet", which will be available in a country version with the Ray in khaki suede, but also on the Jim model, a minimalist tennis shoe in white grained calf skin or in a terracota suede version. On this occasion, Mackintosh asked Wang Fei aka Mr. Slowboy to illustrate the collaboration. These pieces will be presented exclusively in the Mackintosh boutiques in London, and in NYC, from the end of January.

These minimal shoes capture Jacques Solovière Paris and Mackintosh's equally timeless aesthetics. Each shoe is made in Italy from a single piece of smooth leather to create a sleek silhouette. Pinching at the vamp, tonal lace-up closures and white rubber soles make them a contemporary take on classic tennis footwear.
