Through every neighborhood, every conversation, and every carefully chosen piece, our Parisian Profiles celebrate the people who make the city what it is.
We selected 10 people to showcase a true and well-rounded perspective of what being a Parisian is. These carefully selected representatives come from all over the city and the world. Have vastly different professions and personalities. Yet, all unite over the same idea of Paris being their home.
For Yuta, beauty is something that reveals itself slowly. A hairstylist at the renowned Paris salon David Mallett, he is drawn to objects with soul, places that tell stories, and things that bear the marks of time and care. His approach to Paris—and to personal style—is rooted in this appreciation for what becomes more beautiful through living

It is an outlook that began early. Growing up, his grandmother would tell him, “If you buy something, choose the best.” Today, that advice can be felt in the way Yuta approaches the objects he surrounds himself with. Quality is not simply about something being pristine or new; it is about choosing carefully and allowing a piece to become part of your life.
The same sensibility shapes his relationship with Paris. His ideal day does not need to revolve around a grand destination. He finds inspiration in continuing to work, remaining curious, and nurturing his sensitivity to the world around him. Sometimes luxury is simply noticing the city on the way home, enjoying a terrace when the weather is beautiful, or walking through the streets without a particular destination.

For Yuta, however, the greatest luxury is time—particularly time shared with the people he loves without feeling rushed. In a city that rarely stops moving, slowing down becomes its own form of indulgence.
Yuta’s Paris Escape:
When the pace of Paris becomes too much, Yuta heads outside the city to Le Doyenné, a restaurant and farm belonging to a friend, about fifty minutes from Paris. Surrounded by nature, exceptional cooking, and people he loves, it offers the opportunity to disconnect and recharge.
What Yuta Wears:
For Fall/Winter, Yuta chooses the Steve, one of our newest silhouettes. Distinctive yet versatile, it is designed for those who are unafraid to make a piece their own.
